Moeve enables food delivery from stations via Glovo partnership

Moeve, formerly Cepsa, has become the first energy company in Spain to offer food delivery services directly from its service stations, thanks to a new partnership with delivery app Glovo.

Through this collaboration, Moeve Eats brands including Black Turtle, Aloha Poke, Desfase, Toma, and Ramen Kagura, are now available for home delivery via Glovo.

This strategic move aims to expand sales channels and adapt to evolving consumer habits, as well as increase sales at its service stations by over 30%.

“We are confident that this partnership will significantly strengthen our food service offering and drive further innovation in the sector,” said Jimena Sánchez, Head of Food Services at Moeve.

The partnership aligns with the energy company’s strategy of prioritizing customer convenience and expanding the reach of its food service brands. The company also envisions using its service station spaces to host other restaurant brands.

“Our partnership with Moeve is a great opportunity to bring Glovo even closer to users, offering new and diverse food options through the company’s service station network,” added Ramón López-Dóriga, Regional Director for Spain at Glovo.

The collaboration has already launched in Madrid, starting with the Campo de las Naciones service station, a flagship location for the retailer. Over time, the partnership will expand to additional locations nationwide, and offer a wider range of products, including food and pharmaceutical items.

This initiative is part of Moeve’s broader ‘Positive Motion’ strategy, which focuses on redefining the role of service stations.
