Insight and Vontier search for the ‘Best EV Hub in the World’ 2024
Where is the ‘World’s Best EV and Mobility Hub’? Over the next 6 months Insight, alongside Vontier, will be searching for the roadside retailer, or charge point provider who has developed the best global solution for this opportunity.
The goal of the search is to unite the roadside retail, mobility and charge point industry in a common goal to improve its productivity, uptime, safety, sustainability and the customer experience for the EV driver. An improving customer experience is vital for the future of mobility and the global energy transition.
The search for the World’s Best EV Hub is open minded about retail formats and other mobility services. The search will find the top EV Hubs in the World and showcase them in Global Convenience Store Focus in two categories; ‘urban’ and ‘corridor’ EV charging locations.
Insight are interested in the opportunities provided for time pressured EV drivers and EV passengers to spend charging time in as efficient and enjoyable way as possible. Key industry productivity benchmarking criteria like ‘customer charging success ratio’, ‘charger uptime’ and ‘conversion rates’ need to be considered and are important as well as the demonstration of focusing on new customer needs and experience in design.
Once Insight’s panel of experts has selected the shortlist EV Hubs in the World and these future proof locations have been showcased in written interviews and videos online, they will hold an open to all online event to select the winner through a voting process. The winner will be interviewed in a special Shop Talk LIVE video production and will have the opportunity to showcase their success at the top retail and EV events in the global calendar through the 2024 event season.
