Peter Lambrechts has stepped down from his position on the IFSF Board after years of dedicated service, with Rob Zoon, Head of Projects and IT for Q8’s Commercial Road Transport business, stepping into the role.

Rob brings 25 years of experience in the payment and loyalty domain, having previously worked as a consultant in fuel payments and loyalty, with expertise spanning Solution Architecture, Project Management, and SaaS and BPO transitions. Rob’s focus on innovation and strategic partnerships will play a key role in helping IFSF drive continued advancements in standards and technology.

Nils Gilje is also stepping down, with Leif-Petter Stromme taking over his position. LP, who serves as Global Enterprise Architect at Circle K, brings with him more than 30 years of consulting experience across various companies, with a focus on leading development teams and driving tech strategy to solve complex business challenges. His deep expertise in enterprise architecture and development makes him a strong addition to the IFSF Board.

Carl Jones, Chair of IFSF, commented: “We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Peter Lambrechts and Nils Gilje for their invaluable contributions and unwavering commitment to IFSF over the years. Their leadership and expertise have been instrumental in helping IFSF maintain its position as a global leader in standardisation within the forecourt industry.

“We are equally excited to welcome Rob Zoon and Leif-Petter Stromme to the Board. Both bring a wealth of industry knowledge and innovative thinking that will be essential as we continue to navigate the evolving landscape of forecourt technology and standards.”

As IFSF continues its mission to enable interoperability and seamless integration across the forecourt ecosystem, the addition of Rob and LP will ensure the organisation remains at the forefront of technological development and industry collaboration.
