Hectronic becomes a shareholder in ev-pay GmbH
Hectronic, the medium-sized specialist for payment and authorisation systems, continues to expand its E-Mobility business.
Hectronic acquired a stake in ev-pay GmbH on February 5, 2024. Hectronic’s decision to participate in ev-pay reflects the significance of e-mobility for the company. Stefan Forster, Managing Director of Hectronic, particularly appreciates the strategic orientation and management of ev-pay GmbH: “We are taking this step because we believe in ev-pay’s approach. With Felix Blum and Dominik Freund, experienced e-mobility specialists are at the helm of the company”.
For ev-pay, Hectronic’s entry marks a milestone. “ev-pay values Hectronic’s experience in the international payments sector. This will help provide e-mobility enthusiasts across Europe with simple, barrier-free, and reliable payment solutions for charging”, said Felix Blum and Dominik Freund.
Furthermore, the participation offers significant synergies. Hectronic’s payment expertise in the field of e-mobility is evident in solutions such as the HecPay payment terminal for common payment methods. By combining the HecPay terminal with ev-pay’s innovative approach to charging payment, new solution approaches emerge. Together, the development of future-proof and user-friendly solutions can be advanced even faster and more targeted.
