Smart charging solutions provider, Allego, has announced a collaboration with Danish fuel retailer OIL! Tank & Go to install ultra-fast chargers across the brand’s network of stations.
OIL! Tank & Go With parallel commitments to support the transition to electric mobility, the two companies have embarked on a partnership to install Allego chargers at all 80 OIL! Tank & Go filling stations throughout Denmark. The sites set out in this agreement are in addition to the 1,314 sites Allego announced earlier this year. In the future, this partnership has the potential to extend across OIL! Tank & Go’s 340 locations in Denmark, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Allego’s Chief Executive Officer, Mathieu Bonnet, remarked, “We must ensure that charging infrastructure is commensurate to the growing demand for electric vehicles. Utilising our proprietary Alamo tool, OIL! Tank & Go locations are well positioned for commuters and travellers representing ideal locations for our EV charging network. Through this partnership, we are furthering the enablement of a seamless EV driving experience, and the adoption of EVs in Denmark and beyond, and we are elated to share in this mission with OIL! Tank & Go.”
OIL! Tank & Go’s Country Manager, Henrik Schöler, said of the collaboration, “This partnership allows OIL! By 2035, all new cars sold in the European Union must be electric. Efforts are in progress to accommodate this industry-wide pivot; collaborations such as this one will give EV drivers peace of mind as they plan their travels because they will be able to rely on the quality of Allego charging network coupled with the accessibility of OIL! Tank & Go’s stations.
