Insight Research: ‘The Best Foodvenience Store in the World’ 2024

Entries are now in for Insight Research and Invenco by GVR’s search for ‘The Best Foodvenience Store in the World’ 2024 sponsored by The Moseley Group and The Coca-Cola Company.

Insight Research

Throughout mid-2024, Insight Research, together with Inveco by GVR, invited leading convenience retailers from around the world to participate in this global initiative.

The 30 entries from 15 countries, spanning 6 continents will be showcased on Global Convenience Store Focus. Each entry will have a profile page featuring store videos and photographs, available for viewing from 5 September. These entries represent their respective companies, countries, and teams, showcasing excellence in convenience and foodservice worldwide.

Through September, Insight Research’s judging panel will undertake the task of selecting the Top 10 shortlist, which will be announced on 2 October. An industry-wide online vote will then take place in October to select the ultimate winner, who will be announced on 7th November.

Celebrating success and innovation

The global initiative and competition is based on three key principles:

  1. Recognising the people who run and operate the stores represented in this competition from around the world, along with the teams who support them.
  2. Global Perspective: providing a global showcase of how convenience retail continues to advance in foodservice – Foodvenience.
  3. Excellence in Convenience Foodservice Retail: Acknowledging the various ways to achieve and deliver excellence, whether through compelling customer experiences, operational excellence, remarkable performers, or a combination of these elements. All entries consistently deliver retail excellence in their local communities.

The 2024 entries will be available online from 5 September.

At forecourttech ’24 Dan Munford, Managing Director of Insight Research, together with Christian Warning, Managing Director of The Retail Marketeers, will explore these principles further, discussing best practice from around the globe – highlighting award winning formats and outstanding examples of EV hubs, foodvenience stores and use of technology.
